Create an OpenGraph image – 1200 × 630 px
When a page is shared, the platform shows the image from the og:image tag. Facebook – the reference implementation of OpenGraph – specifies at least 1200 × 630 pixels and a ratio as close to 1.91:1 as possible.
Format: OpenGraph / Blog Share Card (1200 × 630) · 1200 × 630 pixels · aspect ratio OG
For plain backgrounds (product photos, scans). No model, ready instantly.
Pick a mode, then click in the image or drag with the mouse held down. The connected area there is corrected.
Transparent cut-out: set Background → Transparent. JPEG cannot store transparency.
For web developers

Good to know
Fact check: the previous format list offered 1200 × 628 pixels. That gives 1.9110:1 and matches the requirement worse than 1200 × 630 at 1.9048:1. The OpenGraph specification itself does not define pixel dimensions.
